Privacy Policy
This policy explains how BOX LLC ("we") handles information in the JockeyBox game app (the "App") and on this website, https://ipsbox-io.github.io/jockeybox-pages/ (the "Site").
1. Information the App collects
The App doesn't collect personal information such as your name, email address, location or device identifiers. It doesn't send gameplay or usage data to us, and it contains no analytics or advertising SDKs.
2. Save data
Save data (your career, horses, settings and so on) is stored on your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, a copy is also kept in your own iCloud (your private area of Apple's CloudKit) so your saves are shared between devices on the same Apple ID. Neither is ever sent to us and we can't see it. Deleting the App deletes the saves on that device; the iCloud copy can be deleted in Settings > your name > iCloud.
3. In-app purchases
Purchases in the App (cosmetic items and farm upgrades) are paid through Apple. We never receive your card number or other payment details.
4. Information we receive through Apple
Apple runs the App Store and TestFlight and handles information under its own policies. Through Apple, we may receive: feedback you choose to send during a TestFlight beta (comments and screenshots) along with crash reports; and, if you've agreed to "Share with App Developers", aggregated usage and crash statistics that don't identify you. We use this only to fix bugs and improve the App. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles your information.
5. Emails you send us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to deal with your request.
6. About this Site
The Site uses no cookies, analytics, ads, or third-party fonts or scripts. It is served by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.), which may process connection data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the Site. See GitHub's Privacy Statement.
7. Sharing with others
We don't share information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
8. Children
The App doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, for example because the App gains new features, we'll update this page. We'll give notice before any significant change in how information is handled.
